The marching band consists of 97 members in grades 9-12.  They perform at all home football games and compete in local field competitions at Johnston, Urbandale, West Des Moines, Ankeny.  The band has consistently receied Dividision I ratings at state contest.

Concert Band is the core of the instrumental music program.   Concert Band is open to all students with prior background in instrumental music.  Students will study a large variety of styles and genres of music through the concert band season.  Several performances are given each year, including home concerts and the Iowa High School Music Association State Festival.  The concert band will perform in New York during the music department trip this coming spring.
